REACH OUT

When God invites us to serve, we will be expected to go beyond the call of duty. If a teacher is blessed with the best abilities, it is the duty of the teacher to give his/her time even if it is required at an inconvenient moment. Every opportunity should be made use of while praising the students who are under the teacher’s care.

Our kindness can be mute too. Just by being with the sick at their bedside, taking time out to silently pray for the dying ones and to be a source of strength to the bereaved can be an act providing great solace. Are we ready to refrain from saying that we preferred to remember them as they were when life was in them. The helplessness felt by those around the dying person cannot be put in words, so just to be around to hold their shivering hand is enough.

We see many people who can be depended upon always. When we notice the zeal in them, it is up to us to steadily support them and appreciate them even if it is in a minuscule manner. It is through the grace bestowed upon us by Jesus that we can lead our lives according to His plan. We can never say that we are finished with God’s work. As human beings we are capable of learning, changing and growing throughout our lives. Every person who loves Jesus must persevere in whatever he is doing while spreading love and faith.
